Was founded and named by Steve Tackett of Arizona in 2016.
Since then, it has had a steady climb up the interest and use charts of Lapidary and
Silversmith artisans alike. Its growing reputation with jewelry buyers has “it” ranked
as the next great piece of jewelry to own.
Why? Appaloosa Stone is even more rare than Turquoise, it is hand mined from a
single known location and then hand carried out through some of the most rugged
landscape on earth, to now end up here as Fine Jewelry.
Appaloosa Stone has similar characteristics to those found in White Buffalo or the
Wild Horse stone.
Appaloosa’s unique natural patterns and colors make it one of the rarest looking
stones to be found, its patterns are similar in look and colors to those found on the
naturally beautiful Appaloosa Horse.
Appaloosa jewelry is designed and handmade in the USA by three time National
award winning Jewelry Designer and Master Silversmith Donna Madej.
